The Schools for Africa was established through UNICEF on December 6, 2004. From 2005-2010 Schools for Africa rehabilitated and built 1,169 schools and 2,805 schools have proper furniture for learning. Their main goal is to have schools with improved classrooms and equipment. In addition they want children to have access to clean water at school with improved bathrooms. Schools for Africa also wants to make health check-ups and immunization possible for the children. Not only can the children receive a proper education with necessary tools; but they can also be healthy children who will live longer lives.
